Operable Wall and Moveable Partition Preventive Maintenance Checklist

  • Inspect internal panel cables (if needed)
  • Inspect and adjust lever closure and mechanisms
  • Lubricate drive and return sprockets
  • Level and adjust panels as needed
  • Inspect, lubricate and clean all track and carriers
  • Inspect track for proper level
  • Inspect upper rails
  • Inspect all pass doors for proper function
  • Adjust spring torsion sprocket and adjust cable tension
  • Tighten all header bolts and screws
  • Inspect motor unit for proper fluid levers
  • Secure loose rub rails
  • Adjust limits as needed
  • Inspect all wall jambs and extension of stack panels as needed
  • Secure all bottom kick plates
  • Tighten all hinges
  • Inspect carrier base for possible cable wear and weld bead where necessary
